What exactly do we get for ยฃ9,950?
A turnkey 90-day programme: 10 ร Sonic Wi-Fi smart-valves with professional installation, pre-install site survey, a dedicated Project Success Manager, full project-management, enterprise web dashboard, mobile apps for FM teams/residents, daily digests, weekly insights reports and end-of-pilot ROI review.
Why 10 devices?
Ten units give statistically meaningful data across multiple risers / flats while keeping the pilot short, low-risk and sign-off-friendly (<ยฃ10 k). If you need wider coverage you can add extra Sonics at ยฃ499 each (including installation) at any point.
What outcomes should we expect?
Typical pilots surface 25%-plus avoidable consumption and eliminate minor leaks long before they become ยฃ-thousands of damage.
Do the valves actually stop leaks?
A Sonic closes the water main when abnormal flow is detected, preventing further loss. Repairs themselves remain your plumberโs job, but the expensive damage never happens.
How long is the water off during installation?
One isolation per valve โ typically <30 min each โ scheduled with your FM team to avoid disruption. Total site time is half a day for ten units.
What infrastructure do we need?
2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at each valve position (signal of -70 dBm or better).
What happens if Wi-Fi drops out?
Sonic keeps protecting locally and buffers data until the network recovers; once back online it syncs automatically โ no engineer call-out needed.
How reliable is the hardware?
We contractually commit to โฅ97% device uptime over the pilot window. Any unit that fails is swapped like-for-like at our cost within two working days.
How is our data secured?
All telemetry is AES-256 encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Our cloud stack runs in ISO 27001-certified UK data centres with role-based access control and full audit trail. No personal data leaves the EEA.
Can we connect the data to our BMS / CAFM?
Yes – Local and Cloud APIs are available. Your engineers can surface real-time leak alerts or consumption data in any platform.
What reporting do we receive?
Daily digests (active issues and risks), weekly email dashboards (leaks found, consumption, carbon equivalent) and a board-ready final report summarising verified savings, avoided claims and sustainability impact.
What if we like the results โ what happens after 90 days?
You keep the installed hardware and receive a full credit of ยฃ9,950 against any site roll-out of 100+ Sonics started within six months. Subscription prices and bulk hardware rates are pre-agreed in the pilot contract, so there are no surprises.
Which sectors and slots are still open?
We cap pilots at five per sector per quarter (currently: PBSA, Co-living, BTR). The landing page shows a live grid โ once a tile is marked All taken, the next start date is for the following quarter. Reserve early if timing is critical.
Is the pilot eligible for insurance incentives or ESG reporting?
Yes. Insurers increasingly recognise proactive leak prevention when setting deductibles; we will provide an insurersโ letter and case-study references. For ESG, the dashboard exports water-savings data in CSV ready for GRESB, LEED or CSRD uploads โ helping you evidence sustainability and resilience targets.
What support is included?
Your Success Manager handles everything: kick-off call, installer coordination, weekly check-ins and final presentation. 7-day UK-based technical support (08:00-20:00) is included for both FM and IT teams.
