After purchasing the Local API licence, contact us by email or via the Watergate in-app chat so we can activate it for your device.

Open the Watergate app and go to Devices → Sonic → Settings, then switch on the Local API toggle.

Note: You need to be the owner of the property.

Open Home Assistant and go to Settings → Device Services. Click + Add Integration, search for Watergate and select it. Then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Once finished, your Sonic will appear inside Home Assistant and be ready for automations.
