Terms and Conditions –
Watergate Affiliate Programmes

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the “Watergate Refer-A-Friend Programme” and “Watergate Affiliate Programme” (“Programmes”) operated by Watergate AI Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15320638), with its registered office at 5 Jardine House, Bessborough Road, Harrow, HA1 3EX (“Watergate”, “we”, “us”).

By participating in these Programmes, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

1.1 Referrers may reside in any country, but at present, the Programmes only apply to purchases made by Referees via the official watergate.ai online store and delivered within the United Kingdom. Referrals resulting in purchases outside the UK are not eligible for rewards.

1.2 Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

1.3 Participation in the Programmes may be either automatic or subject to approval by Watergate, depending on the Programme.

2. How the Programmes work

2.1 Eligible participants (“Referrers”) can refer friends, contacts or members of their audience (“Referees”) to purchase a Sonic device through a personalised referral link or code generated via the Watergate Refer-A-Friend programme or Watergate Affiliate programme.

2.2 Upon using a valid referral link or code:

• The Referee receives a £20 discount off the purchase of Sonic only.
• The Referrer becomes eligible for a £20 reward, subject to clause 3.

2.3 Referral rewards will not apply retroactively to purchases made without a valid referral link or code obtained through the Programmes.

3. Reward conditions and payout

3.1 The £20 reward commission for the referrer is approved 30 days after the qualifying purchase has been completed and not cancelled or returned.

3.2 When your commission is approved you will be notified by email. After that (and always within two weeks) you will receive an email from our rewards platform (Tremendous) to let you know you can withdraw your commission, either as cash or as a voucher.

3.3 If the Referee cancels or returns the purchase within this period, the Referrer’s reward will be voided or withdrawn.

3.4 Rewards will be issued through the Tremendous digital reward platform, provided via the external platform Tremendous, which offers virtual gift cards, PayPal transfers and other payout options, subject to availability.

3.5 Watergate may require Participants to confirm account or payment information before issuing rewards.

4. Tremendous rewards

Rewards are issued via the third-party platform Tremendous, participants acknowledge and agree that:

4.1 Watergate has no control over the types, values, availability, validity or conditions of gift cards or other options offered by Tremendous;

4.2 The Tremendous platform is operated by a third party, and Watergate makes no representations or warranties regarding any products, services or merchants listed there;

4.3 Watergate is not liable for any limitations, changes or unavailability of Tremendous rewards;

4.4 In the event that the Tremendous platform becomes permanently unavailable, Watergate reserves the right to replace it with an alternative rewards provider or to issue rewards directly;

4.5 Certain gift cards or payout methods available through Tremendous or any other third-party platform may be subject to additional service fees, currency conversion costs, or processing charges. Where applicable, such fees shall be borne by the Participants and not by Watergate.

5. Restrictions and brand conduct

5.1 Participants must not:

• refer themselves or use their own referral link or code to make a purchase;
• publish referral links or codes on cashback websites;
• mislead, impersonate or otherwise engage in fraudulent, unethical or deceptive practices.

5.2 Watergate reserves the right to:

• withhold or cancel any rewards it reasonably suspects were earned through misuse of the Programmes;
• disqualify participants who breach these Terms;
• request repayment of any rewards issued in breach of the Programmes.

5.3 Referrer conduct and brand integrity
Watergate is not responsible for how Participants promote Watergate products, provided such activity complies with these Terms. However, by participating in the Programmes, Participants agree not to:

• use misleading, exaggerated or false statements;
• engage in promotional conduct that is offensive, unlawful, discriminatory, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate;
• engage in behaviour that could reasonably be viewed as harmful to Watergate’s brand, image or reputation.

5.4 Watergate reserves the right to reverse or cancel any rewards if it reasonably suspects that such rewards were obtained through the use of bots, automated systems, fraudulent activity, or any other manipulation intended to exploit the Programmes.

5.5 Watergate reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Participants and cancel pending rewards if, in its reasonable opinion, these obligations are breached.

6. Programmes limits and changes

6.1 There is no maximum limit on the number of referrals a Participant can make, unless otherwise stated in writing by Watergate.

6.2 Watergate reserves the right to:

• honour valid Participants made prior to any change or termination, in accordance with these Terms.
• suspend, amend or terminate the Programmes at any time and for any reason; however, in the event of termination, all participants will be notified at least 30 days in advance;
• change the value, form or eligibility criteria of any rewards, subject to reasonable notice (if applicable);

7. General

7.1 Participation in the Programmes does not create any form of employment, partnership, agency or commercial relationship between the Participant and Watergate.

7.2 Watergate’s decisions in all matters relating to the Programmes are final.

7.3 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
