Watergate named ‘Emerging PropTech of the Year’
We were chuffed last night to pick up Emerging PropTech of the Year at the UK PropTech Awards 2025.
The UK PropTech scene is buzzing with innovation, so being recognised in a category packed with standout companies makes this a real honour. Many PropTech awards in recent years have been dominated by energy-saving technology, so it is especially encouraging to see water efficiency and leak prevention getting the attention they deserve.
We founded Watergate to tackle one of the biggest hidden problems in buildings: water leaks and water waste. Leaks cause enormous disruption and cost for property owners and residents, while water waste adds unnecessary pressure to a system already under strain. Our mission is simple. We help homes and buildings prevent leaks before they become disasters, and we give people clear visibility and control over how water is used.
Winning this award is a timely boost as we continue to scale across the residential and commercial property sectors, working with forward-thinking landlords, insurers, and partners to protect buildings and reduce consumption at scale.
