With local-only mode enabled, core protection can run entirely on your local network. Leak detection, valve control and key events stay close to the building they protect, operating without reliance on external connectivity.
It’s particularly valuable in environments where systems are expected to integrate seamlessly with local platforms such as Home Assistant or Building Management Systems, or where operational continuity matters just as much as connectivity.
Of course, the Watergate cloud isn’t going anywhere. It remains available for those who want deeper insights, long-term analytics, remote access or portfolio-level visibility. Local-only mode simply adds another option – giving you the flexibility to shape your setup around your priorities, not the other way round.
