Watergate wins APAC sustainability competition
We’re buzzing at Watergate to hear we’ve just won a ‘water sustainability’ pitch competition.
The competition was organised as part of the UK-APAC Tech Growth Programme in partnership with TOTO, Japan’s largest sanitary wares developer.
Our CEO and founder, Krystian, explained how Watergate’s pioneering sustainable water solutions are already helping eliminate water wastage, as well highlighting how saving water can reduce your carbon footprint.
We’re now heading to Japan in the new year to continue commercial discussions with TOTO, which sees our water leakage prevention and smart systems as having the potential to expand on their business models.
“We’re thrilled TOTO selected Watergate as the winner of their pitch competition. The event was incredibly well organised by Intralink, full of positive energy and packed full of insights around AsiaPac expansion. TOTO shares our passion for engineering smart solutions to save water and protect our limited water resources. It already has some outstanding sustainability initiatives and we’re looking forward to exploring how we can partner to make these even more effective.”
